In retirement, she and Mark continued to travel around the United States as she fulfilled a goal of hers to visit all 50 states and capitals.

She also traveled to other countries around the world, going on trips and cruises with her friends. There was never a time she wasn't planning another trip to some far off location.

Behind the Camera

Multitudes of pictures would always return with her, as she loved to take photos of all her journeys. She spent many an hour organizing and editing all the pictures she accumulated over the years. She leaves behind a mountain of pictures of friends, family and places she loved.

Sickness

In December of 2025, Rebecca fell ill and was hospitalized. It was revealoed that she had a form of blood cancer, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She was treated and returned home in January of 2026.
